Welcome to JRUUC

ImageFounded in 1993, James Reeb Unitarian Universalist Congregation has about one hundred thirty-eight members. One of our greatest gifts is our ability to accept and welcome people for who they are. We are a welcoming congregation that reflects the many kinds of family constellations that choose to make JRUUC their spiritual home.  In September of 2004 we welcomed our settled minister, Rev. Darrel L. Richey into our community.  We invite you to visit and find out more about us!

Our Mission Statement
We. . .
  Embody a broad spectrum of cultures, lifestyles, and creeds;
  Honor the Earth and the seasons of nature;
  Value truth and reason over doctrine and dogma;
  Encourage social action in the name of liberty and justice;
  Celebrate our community and the journey of life, and
  Unite in our quest for personal and spiritual growth.

"Reflections from Rising Star" by Rev. Darrel Richey

How would living through the Great Depression of the 1930's and subsequent natural disasters lead someone to embrace Unitarian Universalism? How can our UU faith help today?
