With gratitude to the many Reebers who offered feedback on the draft strategic plan distributed last month, and after substantial revision by the Covid-19 task force, the Board has approved a strategic plan for JRUUC policy on building use and gatherings during the pandemic. Guidelines are at different levels depending on the current extent of infection and other metrics in Dane County. For the complete plan, click here.
A recent surge in cases has JRUUC at level 4, the most restrictive. The building is closed for all but essential use. With the days getting warmer, we hope members and friends will enjoy outdoor gatherings, within the Level 4 guidelines in the strategic plan to keep everyone safe. Weekly updates will be provided in the weekly email and on the JRUUC website.
You may have noticed that at JRUUC we have been talking a lot about being more inclusive, about offering a truly radical welcome. Besides getting to know newcomers at coffee hour, there are some very hands-on things you can do to help everyone enjoy and participate in Sunday worship (and virtual coffee hour). As we will be continuing with online worship for some time, we’d like to have a larger number of people who can serve in one (or more) of these roles.
