New Guidelines for Outdoor Small Group Gatherings

Dear members and friends,

As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together, we know many of you are eager to explore ways to connect more deeply with each other. When local public health conditions allow, JRUUC will support small, in-person outdoor gatherings.

To facilitate these gatherings, the task force has developed guidelines (approved by the Board of Trustees) that seek to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 while allowing some activities to resume. These guidelines are informed by the latest recommendations from the UUA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Public Health Madison and Dane County.

The full guidelines can be viewed in your browser here.

Effective immediately, JRUUC members and friends can now begin meeting in small groups outdoors if these guidelines are followed. We hope these gatherings will provide support and joy in these difficult times for those who feel comfortable participating.

Please remember that the building is still closed, with no entry by anyone except for essential business. Essential business is defined as payroll, bills, check signing, access to resources, and building safety and maintenance. If you have questions about this policy, please contact Board President Marla McFadden.

In community,

JRUUC Covid-19 Strategic Plan Task Force
