Free to Be Me!

Pride is a protest AND a party.  This morning’s multigenerational fair style service will offer readings, music, activities, and a dance party, honoring the queer ancestors who have been part of creating freedom for LGBTQ+ people, and celebrating Pride!

Note for Zoom Participants: This week’s service will have the choice for some hands-on crafting. If you would like to participate in the craft, the supplies needed will include: a small stick or ring, tape (masking or washi tape preferred), and colorful ribbon or yarn. Genevieve will have kits available for pick up on Saturday for any Zoom participants interested, please email her at re@jruuc.org if you are interested!

  • The Share the Plate recipient for Sunday June 28th and Sunday July 6th is Wheels for Winners. Wheels for Winners provides bicycles to individuals experiencing challenges in their daily lives who perform community service by refurbishing donated bicycles and providing them to people in the community in a way that promotes positive community values. Wheels for Winners was nominated by Kathy Soma.
