Worship Associate: Erik Gunn, Special Music: Bryan Rainey

The Rev. Lori Hlaban is a Wisconsin native who was ordained to the ministry in 2010. She served as the ministerial intern for Olympia Brown UU Church in Racine from 2008-2009, then as Assistant Minister at Unitarian Universalist Church West in Brookfield.

Most recently, Rev. Hlaban served as Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Beaufort, South Carolina, from which she retired in 2024. Before moving to the Lowcountry, she was also a frequent pulpit guest at several lay-led congregations, and enjoyed a busy freelance wedding ministry.

  • The Share the Plate for Sunday March 1st and Sunday March 8th is the Nehemiah Center for Urban Leadership Development. The Nehemiah Center cultivates innovative Black and non-black leaders through culturally grounded programs including youth empowerment and leadership development, community leadership and capacity building, Justified Anger and criminal justice and reentry services. They were nominated by Virginia Harrison.
