The kind of resurrection told in the Easter story is contrary to the scientific and theological understandings of many Unitarian Universalists. And yet, there is wisdom to be found in considering the idea of leaving a tomb. This morning, we’ll explore the possibility that things we think of as endings might lead to beginnings. Voces de La Frontera is Wisconsin’s leading immigrant rights organization and has been empowering and organizing immigrant workers and families for over 20 years. Led by low-wage workers, immigrants and youth, its mission is to protect and expand civil rights and workers’ rights through leadership development, community organizing and empowerment. They were nominated by Kirsten Johnson.
