The Heart is a Muscle

Like any other practice, we have to build our capacity to engage in resistance in ways that are both successful and sustainable.  This morning, we’ll explore some of the ways we can build up our resistance muscles, and what we can learn from communities for whom resistance has been a way of life. • The Share the Plate for 1/18 and 1/25 is Occupy Madison Villages. Occupy Madison builds tiny homes with and for people without homes. There are currently three OM Villages in Madison, run by the formerly unhoused residents who now live in the homes they helped build. They work cooperatively to govern and operate the villages. You can donate online, write a check, or donate items. Thank you to Ed Kuharski for nominating them.
