Wicked

The “Wicked” movies are, in part, about how empire and facism try to create a narrative about what is “good” and what is “wicked.”  This morning, we’ll explore what UU values, and UU theologies, might have to say in response.  And we’ll start to explore practices of resistance to that narrative. • The Share the Plate recipient for January 4 and 11 will be Undue Medical Debt. They believe that medical debt is not just unfortunate – it’s unjust and uniquely American. Powered by donors, Undue Medical Debt has bought and erased billions of dollars in the medical debts of everyday people, freeing them from bills they can’t afford. They were nominated by Sarah Cook.
