The Repairing Practice of Witness

Transgender Day of Remembrance Service. A Business Resolution passed by the delegates at the 2024 General Assembly proclaims that “our principles and values unequivocally commit our faith to honor and celebrate the full spectrum of gender identity and expression…  The ability to live ever-more authentically as one’s true self is central to a lifelong journey towards spiritual fulfillment.”  This morning, we’ll hear stories from some of our transgender and gender expansive siblings, and we’ll mark the International Transgender Day of Remembrance. After today’s service there will be a Community Meal with a “Meet and Greet” for newcomers.
