This year our annual meeting will take place on Sunday, May 15th immediately following service. As always we'll be appreciating all of the people who make JRUUC work. We'll also be voting in a new slate of leadership positions including a new President-Elect and new members of the nominating committee. Finally, we'll be voting on a set of changes to our by-laws. These changes will (if approved) help us to protect and grow our endowment fund, will help clarify the roles and responsibilites of congregational leadership, and more generally will clarify and formalize some of the language used in the bylaws.
If you have any questions about the proposed bylaws, or would like to discuss them, you are welcome to contact Trustee Elaine Pridgen, who led this effort, or any member of the Board of Trustees.
I urge you to please take a moment to read the summary of changes and the proposed bylaws, and to join us in our annual celebration of our 5th Unitarian Universalist Principle!
