Pledging is a deeply personal commitment that we make to the stewardship of our congregation. Indicating your commitment through this form allows JRUUC to plan accordingly to meet its expenses. You will be sent a year-end statement of your contribution for your taxes.

Pledging as a “sustainer” (meaning you will continue to give this amount on a regular basis for the foreseeable future) is helpful for budgeting purposes. However, we also welcome pledges that are paid annually, for instance via IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution, especially if you let us know when to expect them!

This form can be used for new pledges and for changes in pledges. When filling out this form, please include the FULL amount you plan to pledge for the next fiscal year, not just the amount changing from a previous pledge. Your response in the “Effective Date” field tells us when you plan to start paying this pledge amount, and you can fill in any date you wish; if you fill in 7/1/year, your new pledge amount will begin with the new fiscal year.
