Board and Minister Listening Session this Sunday – 6/8 after Service

Join Rev. Karen and members of your Board of Trustees for a conversation about how we want to publicly represent ourselves, our values, and our stands on social issues.  The Board and Karen have had some discussion on this, including suggestions we’ve received to hang banners in support of vulnerable communities, such as trans folx, immigrants, and people in Palestine; a suggestion to post “private property” signs on our doors, or on specific rooms in our building, requiring ICE to show a judicial warrant to enter and search; a suggestion to post the UU values and/or principles in our window; and what our policy on publicly representing ourselves should be.  This will be a multiplatform conversation, after a brief coffee hour.
