Christmas Eve Services

These services were created collaboratively by JRUUC and FUS ministers and musicians.

The links can be found on the FUS website on Wednesday, or you can go directly to their YouTube channel to participate (the services can be accessed at times below, or anytime thereafter).

Join us for a Christmas Eve service for all ages that will include stories, carols, and poetry chosen to honor the sacred celebrations of holy births, winter blessings, and holiday wonder old and new. We will end with the warm glow of candles and the soft choruses of Silent Night. We invite you to have candles ready to light in your home. We also are compiling a video of FUS and Reeb folks lighting their candles to show during Silent Night.

Enter together into the sacred space of Christmas Eve with this service of music, candlelight, and story. Through lessons, carols, and the glow of candles, we welcome the spirit of Christmas into our world and into our hearts. We invite you to partake in our candle lighting and annual Christmas Eve communion in your home; having a candle and some form of your favorite bread and wine/juice/water ready so we may still join together to share in the lifegiving bread of community and the light of hope. We also are compiling a video of FUS and Reeb folks lighting their candles to show during Silent Night.

If you feel so moved, you can donate to JRUUC here.
