Here are actions you can take this week. FREEDOM INC. Is Taking Donations of Backpacks and School Supplies for Black Students in Madison Between now and October 9, Freedom Inc. will be taking donations for the Black to School Backpack Drive! Even for virtual schooling, students need support and supplies, and in some cases these needs are different than in a typical year. Many parents are juggling schooling from home and work and could use help getting their kids the tools they need to learn! You can buy something from this Amazon wish list and arrange a delivery to 2110 Luann Lane, Madison 53715 (or arrange a drop-off by contacting Nancy at Freedom Inc., nvuetran@freedom-inc.org). Grocery gift cards for $25 are also needed. Or you can contribute funds for the backpack drive online through Freedom Inc.’s website. Call Voters in WI with UU the Vote WI and WUUSAN (WI Unit. Univ.
