Sometimes, small moments of consciously paying close attention to what’s passing through our minds can change our thinking and feeling. Today we’ll hear about a practice that can foster our sense of common humanity and increase our compassion.

In honor of Indigenous People’s Day, the Share-the-Plate recipient for Oct. 13 and 20 is Ho-Chunk Housing and Community Development Agency. They maintain affordable rental units and provide programs for rental assistance, home buyer education, home repair and lead inspection, and other housing improvements for the Ho-Chunk community throughout Wisconsin.
