Out With the Old?

Some kinds of renewal require a full cleansing before they can begin, and other kinds require that we keep something and repurpose it.  And when we choose to keep things, renewal might mean coming back to them just as they’ve always been, or it might mean taking a fresh look at how they have served us.  This morning, we’ll begin to ponder this month’s theme, the gift of renewal, in earnest.

  • This Pride Month the Share the Plate for June 9 and 16 will be Transgender Religious Professional Unitarian Universalists Together (TRUUsT). Founded in 2004, TRUUsT supports and advocates for transgender, genderfluid, genderqueer, agender, and two spirit UU ministers, youth directors, music directors, administrators, etc. They are also working to transform UU congregations into spaces that are truly inclusive of trans people. They were nominated by Rev. Bowie.
