There are mysteries that are simply part of life, ever present as part of the relationships with ourselves and each other as we stay, leave, and return. This morning, as we prepare for Rev. Karen’s sabbatical time, we’ll explore how we might remain curious in our decisions and our transitions, and allow mystery to be part of what guides us.
The service will include a joining ceremony for new members, and a leave-taking ceremony for Rev. Karen. And the folx from Just Bakery will be in the foyer after the service with their yummy baked goods for sale!
The Share the Plate recipient for Dec. 17 and 31 will be Middle East Children’s Alliance, a nonprofit humanitarian aid organization focused on supporting the lives of children in the Middle East. They are working in Gaza to provide emergency assistance to families who have fled their homes and to get emergency medical supplies to hospitals and clinics. They were nominated by Jennifer Hedstrom.
